Tony Martin, President
Tony Martin has the expertise of a head gardener who enjoys planting and caring for flowerbeds, plantings, and landscapes full of seasonal color and flowering blooms throughout the year.
He brings 20 years of experience with some of the industry’s biggest names, Inc., including Visionscapes, TruGreen, Valley Crest, Morrell Group, and Martin Landscaping. But he is proudest of his degree in agronomy and minor in horticulture – where his gardening expertise began and has since fully blossomed as the president of the Etowah Group.
Over his career, Tony Martin has developed his “hands-on” landscape design and maintenance style, producing extraordinary outdoor living spaces and unique business environments for residential and commercial property owners throughout the Metro Atlanta area. His unique vision and hands-on “gardening and management style” are the driving forces behind the stunning beauty that Etowah has become known for.
Melda Duckworth, Senior Landscape Designer & Project Manager
Melda Duckworth has been a fixture in Atlanta’s landscape design community for over a decade, helping homeowners and commercial property owners develop unique and personalized landscapes. She brings European design tastes to create unique southern landscapes that blend into the natural environment.
An award-winning landscape designer recognized by MALTA (Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association), PLANET (Professional Landcare Network), and GGIA (The Georgia Green Industry Association), Melda’s designs have been a part of the Atlanta’s Decorators Show House Tours and featured at the Atlanta Garden and Patio Show.
Originally from Turkey, Melda was raised in an area steeped with Mediterranean culture, making her versatile in southern and traditional European garden design. She has designed projects that range in size from hotels to miniature backyard landscapes.

Julie Martin, Chief Financial Officer
Julie Martin has over 10 years of experience with several leading regional and national property management firms, including Weeks Corporation, Grub & Ellis Management, Keystone Corporation, and Wells Real Estate Funds. This experience allows her to understand the challenges many of Etowah’s clients face and to appreciate the positive impact that beautiful, well-manicured landscapes bring to commercial and residential properties. Her extensive property management and landscaping knowledge is an excellent asset to the Etowah Group and its customers. While in real estate management, Julie was active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
